Maturation Sol, founded by 2B1 Energy in April 2017, performs both original and cover songs. The music brings out that soul, funky groove and some disco too. As a variety band, we are capable of performing in front of diverse audiences. From restaurants, brewery and wineries, cafes and small bistros to concert settings, street fairs and nightclubs - our shows delight the youth and adults with upbeat joyful sounds. While on occasion, the slow jams from back in the day.

Founder and Bandleader for Maturation Sol

As a musician, the focus remains high on performing for live audiences. 2B1 Energy has performed up and down the coast of California plus across the country in places such as Boston, New York City, Providence, RI, Dothan, AL, Minneapolis, Panama City, FL and many more. Known for his poetry post-911, a few weeks later - 2B1 Energy joined a jam band called Abstract Logic.(Spring 2002). Moving to Las Vegas/Green Valley area for 18 months, 2B1 ventured back to San Diego to become co-founder of the New Dayze' band (2004-09).

Prior to Maturation Sol . . .

2B1 Energy followed the New Dayze' with various projects: Razor Sharp and the Bohemian Reggae Group. All of the previous music projects were a steppingstone to Maturation Sol, which came about with the thought of ringing in solid grooves. Similar to the live disco sound of the 1970s. with a soulful voice, 2B1 Energy has been able to lead Maturation Sol on a path of musical oneness.
